Basic Tenants of Anglo-Catholic Spirituality
- Worship that cultivates a sense of reverence and mystery
- A world view that is highly sacramental, seeing the
sign of God's presence in all creation
- A belief in the Incarnation Ð God became man in Christ
- A view of Atonement as a life-long process of turning
from sin and towards God. The Sacrament of Penance is
seen as an indispensable aid in this process
- A belief in the fellowship of all who live in Christ,
the "Community of Saints"
- A view of the Church as a mystery, a supernatural
organism that receives life from its head, Jesus Christ,
through the power of the Holy Spirit
- A belief in and acceptance of the seven Sacraments
- A faithful stewardship of the divine gift of the Apostolic
Succession
