When you dream about something for almost ten years, it's sheer delight to see those dreams materialize.

The cross between Cakewalk, our finest doe, and Greystroke, a buck whose pedigree includes bloodlines I have wanted to add to the herd since seeing Sugar Candy at the 1993 Nationals is the embodiment of the saying, "Good things come to those who wait."

This doe was part of Cakewalk's second set of quintuplets. It was a difficult kidding, and since this will be the last time Cakewalk has a daughter, she is a treasure.

Chime (or Chai as we call her) is long and sharp with a pretty head and ears. She is wide and correct, with excellent height and width to her escutcheon and a long bone pattern throughout. I look forward to seeing this doe mature and bloom.

She is chestnut and white.
