This cabin is the
first one built at Pinecroft by Arthur "Art" Caverly in
1934. He built it so that his wife, Selma, might enjoy her Sunday
afternoons reading in the beautiful, peaceful surroundings of the
cabin. We too felt that this might be the perfect spot to share
with visitors the beauty of Pinecroft, and the idea of a bed and
breakfast was born. We hope that people will enjoy it as a spot to
rest, relax and reflect.
Selma's Cabin has
been renovated to provide two guest rooms, each with an ensuite
bathroom and a private deck. There is also a common room with a
fieldstone fireplace, cozy furniture, books to read and art to
enjoy. During the winter season, weather permitting, there is
cross country skiing and skating. Other seasons provide excellent
bird watching, a walking trail and paddle boating.
Selma's Cabin is non-smoking.
Children 8 and over are welcome.
There are dogs and cats on the property.
Breakfast is served in the tearoom ... Lunch is available.
